3 Programming in Functional Developer

3.2 Development models

The process of development in Functional Developer can be much the same as in interactive development environments for other languages. Applications written in Dylan can be developed in the same way as applications written in static languages like C and C++, for instance.

You can also develop applications in a more dynamic fashion, using features in the debugger and browser tools that allow you to interact with a running application. With these dynamic, interactive features, you can test bug fixes on the fly and keep your application running before committing to a rebuild.
